Create your 2015!

Human hand with pen calculating budget. Teacup and digital tablet on a table

Put your ear down close to your soul and listen hard

Hurray, today we had the first snow this winter. Finally! It felt truly magical this morning to wake up to the view you see below. After a very warm December and a „brown christmas“ everyone was dreaming of a white wonderland. Oh, how magical it felt to walk through this white, silent dream. While wondering through the winter wonderland I was thinking and singing to myself:

“Shhhh Shhhh
It’s, oh, so quiet
Shhhh Shhhh
It’s, oh, so still
Shhhh Shhhh
You’re all alone
Shhh Shhh
And so peaceful until…. ”   (Björk)

image image image imageimageimageimage

I love the days after christmas. I usually take some moments during these days between the old and the new year to get silent, go inside, read books on the sofa, nurture my soul and body, enjoy lots of warming tea, light comforting candles, be present and listen closely what my soul has to say.

imageimage image

I try to make space on the last days of the year and create little moments where I am with myself and my journal to celebrate and reflect upon the old year. Creative journaling helps me to hear what’s really important and helps me connect to my inner wisdom, dreams and desire.

IMG_9162[1] IMG_9160[1] IMG_9118[1]IMG_9110[1]

I invite you to join me to close this year with some creative reflections. To make the most of this ritual, find somewhere quiet, turn off any distractions, make yourself comfortable with a cup of tea and get your journal, pens and markers out. Use different coloured markers, pencil crayons, pastels or paint to acces your creative genius and the aspect inside of you that has the answers to all your questions. The part that holds your true power and knows how to manifest your dreams. You can also create a collage and cut out images from magazines to express what you feel, what you want to be answered, or what you want to create in your life.

While you are writing, doodeling, sketching and collaging, pay attention to the little voice inside, your intuition or the voice of your soul, however you like to name it.  Be honest. Just let everything flow through you and out on paper. No-one is watching, express what you really think, not what you think you should think. Don’t judge what you create, just let yourself be guided by the creative flow and listen.

Answer the following questions for yourself:

When looking back on 2014

2014 was the year that…

What was amazing in 2014?

Great things I am grateful for about 2014?

What did you achieve in 2014 that you are proud of and that you wnat to celebrate?

What did you learn in 2014? What worked?  What didn’t work?

How and in what way did you get closer to the dreams you had in 2013?

What did you discover in 2014?

What do you want to leave behind at the end of 2014?

What do you want to bring into your life in 2015?

What needs to be completed in 2014?

What is holding you back from doing what you love that you would like to transform?

When looking forward to 2015

If 2015 will be my best year:  describe your year 2015 in every aspect of your life. Imagine yourself at the end of 2015.

How are you experiencing:

1.Health & Body

2.Relationships

3.Creativity

4.Purpose/Business/ Career

5.Money

6.Environment you live and work in

7.Self-love & Self-care

8.Spirituality

9.Legacy/Contribution

What is your big dream for 2015? Think how you want to feel, how you want to be, what you stand for, what you want to enjoy, what you want to explore and discover, what you are celebrating? What do you want to stop doing in 2015?  How are you different? How did you grow? ….Who is it you want to become in 2015?

What I came to experience and understand deeply this year is how our thoughts and feelings become the things in our life, and we are the creators. Every thought and every feeling does determine what we will manifest. NO MATTER WHAT YOUR BELIEF IS, YOUR THOUGHTS WILL ALWAYS CREATE YOUR EXPERIENCE. If we feel love for something we will attract and create more love. If we believe we are never good enough, we will create situations in which we will experience the feeling of not being good enough. This goes with every feeling and thought, so therefore it’s so vital that we are crystal clear on what we want to feel and experience and hold onto that.

I hope you will find the tim eand gift yourself the space to close and celebrate 2014 with this little ritual.  It will definitely assist you in setting the stage to make 2015 your best year ever!

I wish you an amazing end of the year and new year’s eve! I am looking forward to connect with you again in the new year!

Let’s make 2015 the most magical year! You have the power to create it!

As always, it makes me so happy if you share your ideas, thoughts, insights and feedback and leave me a comment.

With lots of love, beauty, creativity & magic,

Christina

“The creation of something new is not accomplished by the intellect but by the play instinct acting from inner necessity. The creative mind plays with the objects it loves”  C.G. Jung

Last week I took a week off from the computer, devoting my time to my family and my home. I tried to stay as much techno-free as possible. Instead of traveling and getting away from it all, as we usually would do during a school vacation, we decided that it was time to declutter our whole home, especially our home-office space. Some time ago I declared our home office neded to go through a major transformation. Lately I didn’t feel  inspired to work there anymore. No wonder, now I know why. Basically, during this whole week I threw away stacks of my past. Ahhhhh, can you imagine how liberating this feels? Energeticaly, all this clutter was blocking me and subconsciously impacting my energy around work, business, and structures. Ha, now I feel so organized, tidy  and seriously in charge of everything.

Remember my inner Miss Shadow? (If you’re new to this community, you can read all about her here: )

mqdefault

Oh, she was so pleased with me when I showed her my new office space! :-) Now my new home office looks exactly how I envisioned it for so long. But before it could look the way it looks now, it had to go through lots of releasing, shedding and letting go. Just as we need to do if we want to grow into the next version of who we want to be.

I can only recommend to declutter regularly, and let go of everything that doesn’t serve you anymore, and everything that just steals your energy. I know, it can sometimes feel extremely overwhelming, like: “where do I even begin? “ But the decluttering journey doesn’t have to be that big of a process and it doesn’t have to be as time-consuming and painful as it may feel first. You can start with just 10-15 minutes of decluttering a drawer, a desk, a cupboard or a closet, your wallet, your handbag, whatever feels messy and doesn’t feel in alignment with who you want to be.

This week I invite you to set the timer for 10 minutes to declutter your space. Let’s do this together. Ready? Let’s go!

Share your insights and feelings below in the comment section after you decluttered your chosen space. I would love to hear about your experience.

Jessica“After enjoying an AbunDance Mentoring Session with Christina Szegedi Lienert yesterday, I’m inspired to share my reflection of this amazing woman…Christina’s embodied artistry inspires my soul’s desire to experience its fullest expression. Her dancing grace and flowing power make me want to jump up and move into my dreams. Her visual artwork whispers to me of the magic and whimsy that is here for us to enjoy in each moment. To be with her, is to connect with the heart of a loving Mama, the spirit of a forest fairy, and the soul of a transformative artist. In the space she creates, we can hear our own wise voice that calls us forward into our brightest potential.” Jessica Chilton, MA, NCC , Expressive Arts Therapist at www.SparkCreativeWellness.com,  Transformational Leader of  www.ShineExpansive.com

IMG_9692[1]“I had the privilege of receiving a Mentoring coaching session with Christina. She is authentic, honest, incredibly perceptive, highly intuitive mixed with her high intelligence and the ability to dissect and understand all the parts of you that are wanting clarity makes her a dream mentor to work with. She is like a compassionate present detective helping and guiding you to get crystal clear clarity then supporting you to ground your insights and then keeping you on track to manifest your dreams when you trip over a rock along your journey. Christina is brilliant, authentic and loving and she has helped me move forward in leaps and bounds when I was feeling tired and stuck. “Sunne Bernt, Australia, http://www.sunwellbeing.com.au/

Thalia“If I had only two words to describe my time with Christina they would be, Bliss & Delight! Her presence is so refreshing and soothing. Immediately, upon beginning our session my worries melted away, and her incredibly natural and healing presence caused me to tingle from head to toe. Her intuitive insights were powerful, and with what seemed like very little effort she was able to reflect back to me the places I was stuck, and share some practical solutions for moving into a more self-nurturing and supportive lifestyle. I am so grateful for her generous spirit, abundance heart, and her magical voice that seemed to repair my soul. Thank you, Christina!” Thalia Barrett, USAwww.thaliathemuse.com

yoshi_photo“My heart expanded and beats in excitement from the clarity that arrived from my session with Christina. As I continue on my path in life, constantly pulled towards my expanding dreams, there are people that I meet, courses, sessions that I am naturally drawn to because they resonate with the energy of where I am and what I need to take the next step. Christina’s call was exactly that. Her energy is pure, her clarity undeniable, and the flowing, joy-filled nature of the call makes the journey of exploring the next step so enjoyable while at the same time so clear. The interactive nature of it is perfect. Beyond writing down the elements of the exercises you’ll find you’ll want to write down the gems of wisdom that come through during the call in the margin!

I highly recommend a session with Christina to help you move closer to the life that you dream of as well. There are people who are here at this time to help guide the way, and help illuminate your own light; Christina is one of those people and I’m honoured to have aligned paths with her and her guidance.” Yoshi Arima, Canada,  www.heartofyoshi.com

IMG_9691[1]“I connected with Christina Szegedi during an extremely chaotic situation in my life.  First of all she helped me to ground myself in the beginning of the session so that we could move on in a clear way. Then she gave me some concrete advice in how I could deal with my situation energetically which was very helpful for me. Christina also guided me through a visualization that feels life changing for me. After my session with Christina I dealt with my situation in an empowered way which was very liberating for me. I love Christina’s creative expression and I find it very inspiring for my own creative expression. Being guided by Christina is like being in her warm embrace of her Unique Creativity, Strong Intuition and Spiritual Wisdom. I strongly recommend Christina Szegedi to whoever feels drawn to her. She has a Calm, Creative and Light way of dealing even with difficult issues. ”    Cintra Krän, Sweden

Unveiling the Soul Art Mural

“Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up. ”   Pablo Picasso

This week my Soul Art mentor Laura Hollick released the video of  the Soul Art Mural project that I have been collaborating in. 4 of us Soul Artists from around the world flew in to Canada to work on this magical creation through the summer of 2014 .

You can watch the video here:

I was also asked to answer the following questions. In the Q & A  below you can read what insights I received from my Mural Soul Art, and I also explain in more depth what Soul Art means to me.

1. What is the message of your Soul Art mural piece? (What is it about? What does it say to you?)

“Claim your life as a thriving Artist. Be yourself, share your gifts with the world and stand in your true power and beauty. ” The goddess that came through in my mural painting, within the shape of my body, has a powerful presence . She is leading with her heArt. She is a channel for divine inspiration, creativity, artistry, love and beauty. Her spirit guide is the Dragon who helps her share and spread all these qualities into the world. Her dragon is soft and wise yet powerful and sees the world from above, bringing her divine wisdom of truth.

2. Why do you believe Soul Art is important for our world?

The world is changing and seems to be making a profound shift. Today, as our world is drawing together into one global culture, we have entered a new paradigm, with new forces and values. Old structures are falling apart and each of us is asked, or often even forced (throught illness or a life changing event) to find our truth, unique path and purpose. We are asked to embrace our soul and spirit if we want to create a fulfilling life that is based on our true essence, gifts and talents. Social and environmental dimensions of our existence are shifting and we have to approach all aspects of our life in a new wholistic way.
Everything that doesn’t come from within, our own heart and soul’s desire, will fall apart or create suffering on the long term.
Soul Art is a unique method to express and visualize the invisible and often hidden inner world. Once we can see, gain insight and understand our inner reality we receive clarity through the wisdom that is held within our body. Only when we listen carefully to this inner wisdom and the voice of our soul, we are able to create a reality that is in 100% alignment with our truth and purpose , bridging the inner and the outer world in a wholistic way.
 3. What do you want people to know about you and your journey as a Soul Artist?
Through my own journey of personal transformation and journey as a Soul Artist /Soul Art Guide, I started to learn how to support and guide other people to connect with their truth; how to design and create a life that is in alignment with their unique essence, origin(-ality) and deepest desires; and help them transform their lives from the inside out.
I am here to share and spread my love, creativity and artistry to inspire others on their journey to unleash their creative dreams, to uncover and release their authentic truth and clarify their soul’s purpose and work of art.
Through doing my Art in its many forms I share what my heart wants to say, what brings me joy, bliss, love and lights up my soul. Through leading a creative life, and leading by example I am able to guide other creative soul-seekers, artists and dreamers who are ready to step into their full power and potential, who are committed to transform their lifes and live the life of who they trully are. I created a place called AbunDance Artistry to unify and express, all that I am, where I share my inspirations and guidance to a tribe of likeminded spirits.
I also want to share with you a cute little story that refers  to the quote in the beginning, and shows beautifully how natural the creative process seems and happens for children, if we give them the space and permission to be wildly creative.
I  was watching the mural  video with my daughters.  After the video was over  Mélodie was really inspired. She came to me with a roll of packing paper and markers and told me to “bodymap” her. (Bodymapping is the step within the Soul Art process where we trace the shape of our  body, or parts of it to enter the reality of our body and the reality of our life within our body). Then Mélodie started to draw and be creative within her shape and after she finished she called me and said: “look mama, this is how my soul looks like!” I just found this so cute that she wanted to do this all by herself and she perfectly understood the concept of Soul Art. This is how Soul Art can even influence the life of a nearly 5 year old.
“But no matter what your age, your life path is, and wheather making art is your career or your hobby or your dream, it’s not too late or too egoistical or too selfish or too silly to work on your creativity.”

“In a sense, your creativity is like your blood. Just as blood is a fact of your physical body and nothing you invented, creativity is a fact of your spiritual body and nothing that you must invent.”             Julia Cameron

Time flies

Mom

If you are a mother I am sure you can relate to the image above, no more words needed. 😉

Well, today’s blog post is just a brief glimpse into the adventures from around here, because a lot (i.e., too much!) has been going on lately. This week was very special, as it was Mélodie’s first week in kindergarden. A very emotional moment for every mum and dad. Wow, time really flies. Wasn’t it just yesterday when I carried my baby around the whole day? Now she’s off on her own.

This week I took the opportunity to talk with my daugthers about the moments, when I held them in my arms for the first time. We looked at photos from pregnancy until their first days at home. We also looked at photos from my own childhood as a baby and my first day in kindergarden. We turned this afternoon into a little party, celebrating our next big chapter in family life. I wrote them each a letter saying how proud I am of them. We made home made ice cream (see this simple recipe below) and danced to our favorite music.

Brief              IMG_9281[1]

Talking about the time and period in a mother’s life when the baby desires to be carried around and cuddled all day. While you love your child, and want to give it all the love and caring ,there’s still lots of other things on your list, and somehow you need to manage the rest of your daily business. Baby carriers are a great help tothis endbut it’s not always easy to find the right fit for both mother and baby. I would like to introduce to you a great project of one of my B-School friends, Cecilia Tsai. She is launching a new baby carrier system called HIPSTER. Please spread the word and share this with everyone who has a baby, or plans to have one, and support her in launching this great product. Check it out below.

RECIPE OF THE WEEK

IMG_9281[1]

AMAZINGLY SIMPLE RASPERY ICE CREAM

I have to admit as I am writing this post, the weather in Switzerland doesn’t really call for ice cream. But children always love it, and I want to share with you the easiest, fastes and healthiest ice cream recipe in the world. I love keeping it simple, because I don’t have a lot of time. It’s not even a recipe because it’s just too simple to taste good-but it’s absolutely delicious and even healthy.

makes about 4 servings

INGREDIENTS: 5 large Bananas peeled and cut into little pieces, 300 g Rasperies

DIRECTIONS:    1. Freeze Bananas and Rasperies for 3 hours or longer (alternatively you can buy the Rasperies already frozen)

2. Place frozen bananas and rasperies in a Vitamix or High Speed Blender and blend until smooth and creamy

3. Enjoy immediately!

TIPS & ALTERNATIVES : If you don’t have a Vitamix or other high speed blender, you can blend the fruits in a food processor. You can add a little vanilla extract, or add a few springs of mint for a refreshing taste. You can also try this recipe with other fruits instead of the berries, or you can add raw chocolate powder with the bananas. Try it out and get creative.

Little Moments of Mindfulness

coaching

Holà, we are back from our beautiful holidays in Ibiza. We enjoyed 10 days of hot-summer-sea-island-beachlife and came back straight into rainy Swiss-style summer. The thing with summers in Switzerland is that it might be absolutely beautiful, but you just never know what you’ll get weather-wise. That’s why I am so grateful for the 10 days of real summer we’ve experienced in Ibiza. To hang out at the beach, stroll outside the whole day, feel the sun on my skin, swim in the ocean, collect shells, and build sand castles with my daughters is just my favorite way of relaxing. Nowhere else can my mind silence better than at the beach.

I have to say, though, that this time it took me a while to relax and let go of all the ideas and ongoing projects in my head. The flipside of being a creative soul is that I always have more new ideas in my head than I am actually able to realize, and before I have finished one thing my mind is already racing to fullfill the next idea.  I can easily get overwhelmed and constantly feel not having enough time to do everything I want. Often, I catch myself thinking that everybody else has more time than me. But hey, everyday has 24 hours and all people just have 24h hours. And everybody is busy, right?

Why is it that before holidays we need to get a million things done, just to allow us to RELAX? I always do countless things before! No wonder I find it hard to switch from marathon mode to total relaxation.

IMG_8481[1]IMG_8559[1]IMG_8576[1]

During the first days of our holiday I experienced this sort of transitioning-into-holiday-state-of-mind, being well-aware that I should relax. My head and body, however, were still spinning inside.  I desperately wanted to turn my mind into the “be-happy-do-nothing-mode”. It’s so easy to be interrupted all the time if we aren’t conscious, and if we don’t get enough distraction, we look for one. This is particularly easy in our digital world, with smartphones, emails, social media, news and information all over the place – isn’t this distraction par excellence? Studies have shown that, on an average, we can bear a maximum of 11 minutes without any outside distraction.  Doing nothing productive and even enjoy it? This has become a real challenge for most people in our busy western world.

I had to remind myself  to live much more mindfully again. My mantra:

” Where I am is perfectly fine and is exactly where I am supposed to be on my journey”

Do you often feel pressure to be and do everything and have the switch ON all the time?

collected some ideas for you on how to practice living mindfully. Holidays are the perfect time to practice this, because you get lots of time, but we should cultivate a habit of living little moments of mindfulness everday.

PRACTISES FOR LIVING MINDFULLY

1. Go for a treasure hunt

IMG_8632IMG_7649

Wherever you are go outside and collect little treasures. Stones, feathers, snail shells, sea shells if you are at the beach- all the treasures nature has to offer. Unleash the joy of your inner child and get lost in the moment. And if you have children,  you know how they are masters in doing this – they will love to join you.

2. Just walk

IMG_6863[1]IMG_7110[1]

While you are walking, put your attention to the soles of your feet. Walk consciously. What do your soles feel? What do they touch? How do they roll off the ground? What sounds and noises are your steps creating?

 3. Dance first-think later-Worry Less!

IMG_8824[1]IMG_8736

As always, a little inspiration to dance and shake once in a while. Just let your body move and flow freely. Let each movement be the inspiration for the next one. Sense where your body wants you to go next, what your soul wants you to express. Listen to your breath and your heartbeat. Let go of any worries. Just recognize conciously what it is that’s making you feel good. When do you feel a YES in your body and when a NO? Get completely lost in and with your body for a few minutes

.

 4. Smile and laugh

IMG_6043Dancer_11

Smile more often! About 60 muscles relax in your face when you smile creating positive feelings like joy and serenity. Next time something isn’t working the way you want it,  try to smile or think of a situation when you were laughing until your belly hurt.

5. Sketch and write it out

IMG_8805Dragon-Power

Something that always helps me to be present with my feelings is to sketch and write them out. Take a piece of paper or your journal and sit down quietly. Go within, listen and give your thoughts and emotions a form, a symbol or a word. It doesn’t matter how it looks like. The purpose of this exercise is just to be present, mindful and recognize what is going on inside of us at this very moment. See what wants to come out and pass through you. By giving the invisible energies, emotions or feelings a symbol, a form, a word, a phrase or a color on paper, they suddenly become part of our visible reality. Putting “it” outside of us releases energy and seeing “it” on paper helps us to understand “it” better. We gain more clarity and can transform unwanted emotions into a new form.

6. Open up to your Senses

IMG_8791

Problems and worries are mostly connected to something in the past or the future. Maybe you feel sorry for something you have done in the past or you worry about a situation that might occur in the future. When we focus on what our senses perceive we are istantly in the present moment, because our senses just operate here and now. To smell, taste, feel, hear and see what this present moment offers is a great way to recognize the abundance around us. So next time when you eat or drink something,  feel every sensation from how your lips touch the cup and the spoon, feel how, for instance, the beverage feels in your mouth, or what sounds it creates. Or when you go for a walk, just concentrate on the taste of the air. Light a candle, put a drop of essential oil on your wrist and smell. Just sense the small things that you would normally walk past.

I hope these exercises inspire you to celebrate mindful moments. Try them out, leave me a comment and share your own thoughts and rituals of living mindfully below.

Thank you for being here,

Have a relaxed week with lots of little mindful moments,

Morning Rituals and your Sacred Space

Young African woman in the prayer position.

I am sending you today’s blogpost from our summer holidays on the beautiful island of Ibiza, Spain. Last summer I fell in love with this island and this year my heart was longing to come back. I am enjoying every moment here with my family, that’s why today’s post arrives a little later than usual. Here is a picture taken from my balcony as I am writing you this; not a bad place to work from!

IMG_8527[1]

I will share more about our magical time here in next week’s blog. Today, I will talk about some of my favorite morning rituals and the importance of cultivating sacred space and time for yourself every day. Last week I have been posting them on Instagram for a couple of days. I am pretty much infatuated with Instagram lately. It’s become like a daily visual blog for me, where I am able to document and share a more personal glimpse into our life, without using much words. You can follow me here for a peek into our daily musings, adventures and happenings.

MY FAVORITE MORNING RITUAL

My Nr. 1 secret for staying centered, focused, thriving and happy has always been to carve out some sacred time for myself, and spend time with myself first thing in the morning. I’ve been cultivating a habit of prioritizing myself everyday (or as often as I can) before anyone else gets my attention. That way, ultimately,  everyone else around me benefits. I am more relaxed as a mother, wife, teacher and mentor.  I don’t get irritated so quickly, I am more patient, I have a more positive outlook on life and I have much more energy to give and share, because I have recharged my batteries. Especially with children and our busy lifes it’s just too easy to loose ourselves and our balance.  In this phase of my life I find it even more crucial to gift myself day by day with little moments in order to ground and connect with my body and soul.  For that reason I get up early every morning,  at least 30 Minutes before everyone else gets up in my family. Often it’s not easy, taking those extra 15 minutes of extra sleep feel so tempting, but I know I will be a better version of myself if I allow myself to have this sacred time.

GOOD MORNING RITUAL # 1 LEMON WATER

IMG_8292[1]

I always start the day with fresh lemon water. It cleanses the whole system, and helps to flush out all the toxins. It gives a nice boost to your immune system because of it’s rich Vitamin C content, helps with digestion and supports clear skin! You will feel refreshed and hydrated right away. The benefits of lemon water are endless and it’s one of the most beneficial and at the same time simple changes you can make for your health. Your body will thank you.
Press one organic lemon, pur it into a big glass and fill it up with water. On colder days I like to add hot water. Enjoy!

GOOD MORNING RITUAL #2 MOVE & STRETCH YOUR BODY

image (2)

No matter where you are, how you feel and what you do – make some time to move, stretch and connect with your body every day! Move in whatever way feels right for you. Put your favorite music on, stay in the moment, go with the flow, shake things out, move how it feels best, land in your body, center, ground, skip, twirl, wiggle, roll, balance, fall, reach, extend, glide, turn, twist, stretch, elevate, contract, receive, pull, push, sway, leap, jump, feel free, breath deeply, dance more- and worry less!

See if you can incorporate just 10-15 minutes of movement each day. I usually do my own combination of Yoga, Pilates, Ballet barre and free flow Dance improvisation. After just 30 minutes I feel refreshed, grounded, strong, happy in my body and ready to start the day. You can go here to find some more inspiration on how to move your body freely. In these videos I share some of my free flow Dance improvisations in all kinds of spaces. You can see that I try to dance everywhere. In one video for example I am even dancing and jumping in a tiny and very narrow hotel bathroom. This is just to remind you that you can do it too, wherever you are, you don’t need a fancy studio or class. And if you have kids, they will  love it too. I often dance with my children if I feel they need to release some energy.

GOOD MORNING RITUAL #3 MEDITATION

image (3)

Meditate!  Make some time every day to connect with your soul, inner self, your truth, your spirit, your essence however you want to call it. Even 5 minutes a day can do magic. There are so many ways, techniques and practises out there how to meditate and I am not the expert, but what I found out for myself is that in whatever way you do it, the purpose is always the same: To connect with your inner divinity and be present in the moment.  To connect with and live life from the soul is the most important thing for a purposeful life. Because when you can live life from your soul’s perspective you’ll have your questions answered in 100% alignment with your truth. So that eventually every aspect of your life becomes an expression of your divine & authentic nature and you true purpose on earth.

Close your eyes and listen to the little voice within. You can ask a question and see what answers you receive. What words do you hear? What images come to mind? What sounds or smells do you sense? What is your heart longing for today? You could do it first thing in the morning while you are still lying in bed. I prefer to do it after I have moved and landed in my body. I feel that when I have released some energy that is blocking me, I can be more present with myself.  You can light a candle to make this moment even more sacred. Namaste!

GOOD MORNING RITUAL # 4 TEA TIME-SET YOUR DAILY INTENTION

IMG_8551[1]

Make yourself a nice cup of your favorite tea, take a deep breath, quiet your mind and drop into your heart space. Dream! What is your intention for today? Write it down and then think it into your tea. Drink it and feel how every cell gets nourished by your intention. That’s how we manifest our dreams!

GOOD MORNING RITUAL # 5 CONNECT WITH NATURE

IMG_8554[1]

Whether it’s walking barefoot on the grass, water my plants on the balcony or go for a walk or run in the forest, connecting with nature immediatley raises our vibration and recharges our batteries. I find it almost impossible to not feel ungrounded when you spend time in nature. Somehow, spending time in nature helps us to connect more with our own nature.

Voilà, I hope these rituals inspire you to start your days refreshed and balanced :-) !

Spread some love today!

Christina Szegedi 1 (29 of 337)

Todays post is all about LOVE!

Yesterday Chris and I celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary. This year seemed special because 7 is our lucky number: we got married on 07.07.07, we live in a house with the #7 and we were both born in the year 1977. So we decided to treat ourselves with a “only-the-two-of-us” weekend.  We booked a night at a charming hotel in the beautiful town where we got married 7 years ago, to celebrate our wedding day and nourish our love of almost 13 years (of being a couple).  These days, being parents of  2 little children, the time that we spend as a couple is very rare and therefore feels oh so sacred. We decided that we need more “only-the-two-of-us”  time for our next year. So our next step will be to find a good babysitter to have a date night every other week or so. It’s so important to make time and space to reinvest in your partnership to keep the relationship and passion for each other alive. With children, business and our busy life, we can easily forget who we were when we fell in love with each other. We can easily slip into a pattern of taking the other for granted an disconnect from each other. Cultivating some conscious time togther is crucial! Below I share a ritual we started doing every year for our wedding anniversary.

Here are some impressions from our two days by the beautiful Vierwaldstädtersee (lake Lucerne)-it was truly magical!

 Wedding Day Ritual

Here is a ritual that I like to share with you, which we continue to do every year on our wedding day. A ritual to become present with each other, to rediscover love, to hear what the dreams, desires and needs of our partner are and how we can both support each other in our growth.

Here is how you can do it:

Chose a nice, location or space that feels sacred to both of you. We always chose somewhere by the water, as we both have a special connection to water.

Bring some paper/journal and pens and some music you both like (could be your wedding song) , your wedding rings (you probably wear them if you have) otherwhise choose an object that means a lot to you as a couple

1. Each of you write down : 7 or more THANK YOU s to your partner. All the things that come into your mind you feel grateful for him/her doing and being

2. Each of you write down: ” What do I live for? ” ,”What keeps me alive?”, “What is my life force/passion?”

Play your favorite music

3. Each of you write down: “What do I desire to receive from you? “, “In what/for what do I need your support? “or “please support me with….”

4. Each of you write down: “What I would like to create with you” (write down all the things that come into your mind, permission granted to dream big)

5. What I promise to you and life!

Read everything to each other and talk about your dreams, desires, needs and visions for your future.

6. If you have weeding rings you can bless your rings now and put them on each others fingers again(just as you did when you got married) to say YES! for another year together

We always wash and bless our rings in the river or lake where we do the ritual and take a moment to put our dreams into the rings, in our minds eye.

I hope this inspires you to try it out with your partner some time. Of course you can do this ritual anytime!

 Spread some love today

While I was in Canada I found a really sweet idea in a café to remind people to share some love. Remember the old way of putting up an ad, with your phone number to take away? Why not exchange some love this way? I tried to do a little DIY collage, how to make this fun and colorful. You can hang it on your wall at home, in your office, at the bus station, in your local café or store, wherever love is needed most.;-) Have fun!

Tribe of Truth

I am sending you today’s lovenotes from Canada! Yey! I’ve just spent some amazing days with a tribe of like-minded spirits who gathered from all parts of the world to meet in Laura Hollicks Soul Art Studio in Hamilton. Seven people coming from New Zealand, Australia, Ecuador, USA, Canada, and myself from Switzerland said yes to this invitation and gathered for an incredible experience. An experience that lead us to evolve more into “who we came here to be”, an experience that allowed us to dive deeper into our own truth and purpose, and into the visions of how to bring our mission and businesse to the next level. At the same time we were filming and shooting for Laura Hollicks Nü Icon Movie, which will come out sometime in fall. How exciting to see us all in a movie! I have no words to describe the power and the energy that we all experienced together in this short amount of time. It has been a life changing and over the moon fun adventure that will forever stay in my heart.

What I have learnt from this journey, among many other things is, the power and the potential of a community of likeminded people who resonate on a deep soul level with each other. The bonds that form between like-minded, heart centered, creative soul-seekers can create massive shifts, transformation and growth in our life. Whether it’s through an online facebook group, or a in- person comunity , inspiration happens when we share our stories, challenges and discoveries. Growth can happen when others see and reflect back to us the potential that we sometimes can’t see in ourself  or that we have forgotten about.

During these days in Hamilton we all felt a sense of coming home and being part of a very special tribe or soul family. You can find  some impressions of our gathering below.

I am so happy that I’ve decided to create the structures for my own tribe to grow. People from all over the world are already part of the AbunDance Artistry Tribe. Please share this space with anybody you think would love to join this tribe and who resonates with the spirit of AbunDance Artistry.

You can go here to sign up to my list if you haven’t already, to receive weekly love notes & inspirations from my whimsical wonderland of AbunDance Artistry.

Every week, or whenever inspiration strikes, you’ll receive a short inspiring email where I share my adventures, inspirations, musings, reflections and insights on living a soulful life – straight to your inbox. Once you signed up you’ll receive my FREE little gift of art

In the future I will definately offer in-person workshops and retreats for this tribe to gather in person.

Impressions from our Nü Icon Intensive at Laura Hollick’s Soul Art Studio in Hamilton

with Joan Marie, Ute Lambrecht, Jill Soenen, Yoshi Arima, Fleur van Til, Sunne Bernt and Photographer Kevin Thom. We all represented a color of the rainbow that resonates with our essence.

And here is a little drawing I made to express the whole experience with everybody in their Iconic Essence. Laura Hollick providing the space and galactic energy for this tribe to gather and our Iconic Essences to shine while Kevin is capturing the experience through the lense of his camera. More to come in fall
